Faculty Advisors
Each student is assigned a faculty adviser by the Registrar's Office. Your faculty advisor will assist you in choosing appropriate classes according to your curriculum. Incoming students will meet with their advisor on the second day of orientation.

Keep in mind that it is ultimately the student's responsibility to know and satisfactorily complete the requirements for the degree, diploma or certificate programs in which they are enrolled.

Transfer Credit
If you have taken courses outside of the Conservatory for which you would like to receive credit make sure to have an official copy of your transcripts mailed to the Conservatory and email a course description to rap@sfcm.edu. Ruby Pleasure, International and Transfer Student Advisor will assess your transcript to see if he course is transferable at the Conservatory. You must have received a 'C' or higher in order to receive credit.

We also give credit for AP Exams and CEEB test scores.

For more information regarding transfer credit policies according to your degree please review the General Information section of the Collegiate Catalog under Transfer Students.

Registration
Faculty advising will be on August 27th. Registration will take place August 28th and 29th. You will receive an email with information regarding the exact time and location of your advising appointment.

Currently, students are only able to register for classes in person. Please keep in mind that there is a late registration fee of $75.
