Timothy Bach earned a D.M.A. in Accompanying with honors from the University of Southern California, where he studied with Gwendolyn Koldofsky and Brooks Smith. He received a B.A. from Stanford University, where he studied with Adolph Baller. He has been official accompanist at the Music Academy of the West, the Carmel Bach Festival, the Piatigorsky Memorial Cello Seminars, the I. Klein International String Competition and the Banff Festival. In addition to making many concert appearances, he has recorded on the Cantabile label and assisted many artists in master classes, including Yo-Yo Ma, Peter Pears and Gerard Souzay.
