Marcella De Cray is harpist for the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra. She is a former member of the San Francisco Chamber Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Ms. De Cray earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and continued her harp studies at The Juilliard School with Marcel Grandjany and at the Paris Conservatoire. She also studied extensively with Henriette Renié and Mildred Dilling. Ms. De Cray has taught at the Peabody Conservatory and Aspen Music School and performs each summer at the Telluride Chamber Music Festival in Telluride, CO. Her recordings appear on the Grenadilla and Coronet labels.
