Summer Music West offers select programs for the young musician seeking a stimulating and supportive summer experience, based on the traditions of Conservatory training. SMW students will enjoy the camaraderie of other talented musicians and the guidance of our distinguished faculty.

The 2008 SMW program, at the Conservatory's Civic Center location will include the following popular offerings:

Gilbert and Sullivan Scenes    (ages 10-18)	June 16- 28, 2008
Composition Intensive    (ages 8-20)	June 23 - July 24, 2008
Musicianship    (ages 8-18)	July 7 - 18, 2008
String and Piano Academy    (ages 8-12)	July 7- 18, 2008
Chamber Music    (ages 12-18)	July 21 - August 1, 2008

The application process begins February 1, 2008 and continues until all spaces are filled. Auditions and/or interviews are required for all programs.
